Trance is a genre of over 20 years. Legendary Finnish DJ and producer Orkidea, whose career also lasts more than 20 years has noticed that the history of Trance'u is not well documented. He decided to create a Facebook page where he tries to show the evolution of this genre.
The timeline begins with the ' prehistoric ' tracks from the years 1988-1991. We will find productions from artists such as Kraftwerk, Jean-Michel Jarre, Giorgio Moroder and Vangelis. Later, the era of proto-trance and pieces from KLF, Dance 2 Trance, Age of Love and Oliver Lieba are followed.
The years 90-these are mostly golden times of Germans and songs from Eqe Q Records, MFS, Harthouse and Superstition. In the timeline there were also classics from such labels as Platipus or Bonzai. Then the baton is taken over by the British in the composition of Sasha, Digweed, Oakenfold and Labele Renaissance or Global Underground. The year 1999 is already a trance revolution of the Dutch: Armina, Ferrego and Tiesto.
The passage in the 21st century is the domination of labels Anjunabeats, Armada, AVA, Black holei Such manufacturers as Solarstone, Gareth Emery, J00F as well as many smaller names. The positions of the last years Orkidea draws in a way that can be by many misunderstood. Here we find artists representing more progressive sounds: Eric Prydz, Guy J, Henry Saiz and Oxia.
Already a large amount of trance community likes Orkidea's website, shares it and comments songs by the way combining them with their own stories related to these classics. We also invite you to familiarize yourself with it and express your opinions on the history of Trance'u.
' It is Good to know the story that inspires us to create a better future ' – Orkidea.
